Our guest house is located in the historic center of Sevastopol at the foot of the famous Malakhov mound, or, as we say – "Malakhov Kurgan". It is one of the most visited places in the city. At the moment, we are pleased to offer you a two-room apartment, located on the second floor of the just build guest house.  We built our house, used the most advanced technologies and high quality materials, so it’s cool in summer and warm in winter. Comfortably located on the balcony , you can enjoy the southern nature, the morning sun and a romantic sunset. ;)

Location:

Guest house "Homelike" has a unique feature - the location near the sea and the main city’s infrastructure, but aside from the noise, highways, roads, and "fun" night karaoke. A shady alley through the historical places leads you to the sea, the road will take you about 10 minutes. There is a small beach, where one can optionally choose cultivated concrete, gravel and sand, or "wild" stony place to stay, all benefits described here.

Near the guest house:

• parks, grocery shops, supermarkets, cafés and dining rooms (5 minutes walk);
• 10-minutes walk to the nearest beach, "Ushakov ravine";
• 10 minutes by common transport to the city center and the "Crystal" beach located there.
• The distance to a transportation stop is 200m.;
• 5 minutes by city transport to the railway and bus- stations;
• in a 5-minutes walk - offices of the biggest banks in Ukraine - Privatbank, Ukrsibbank, Oschadbank and Russian’s: VTB and Sberbank of Russia.

 

Information about the nearby beach, "Ushakov ravine"
"Ushakov ravine" was named after “Russian Nelson” - famous Russian naval commander of a period of sailing fleet Fyodor Ushakov, who ordered to build a park here with gazebos, carousel and rest areas. In late XIX - early XX century the favorite rest place for sailors and locals was here. Due to variety of plants listed in the Red Book, including relict pistachio, which grows in this ravine, the territory is declared a state monument of nature.

Beach in Ushakov ravine has the entire necessary infrastructure, but because of its location and small size, it is of interest primarily for local residents.

The beach is located on the bank of the Sevastopol harbor, where the sea is very different from the open. Water samples, made by representatives of the city authority, show that the water quality at the beach is even better than local standards require - scientists explain this by numerous springs at the bottom of the beach.
As for the military ships, they are located on the opposite side of the bay, more than a kilometer away. So, that is a difference with the open sea: you don’t look at the empty horizon, but at marinas, where the grand flagships of naval forces of Ukraine and the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation frigate "Getman Sagaydachny" and the missile cruiser "Moskva", accompanied by a smaller warships located. The sea in the bay is calm, a waves roll only when a ship passes in a short distance.

The local beach is a concrete surface which gradually turns into a wild rock - only about 200 meters. It has life-saving station, locker rooms, toilet, sun canopies and benches underneath, equipped with iron staircase descents into the water. But kids prefer to fly into the sea, using as a springboard the plates of a destroyed pier, near which there is the greatest revival. Those who do not want to lie on concrete, can go ahead and find a comfortable place in the rocks or on the sand with pebbles.

Among the attractions right on the beach there are the remains of an aqueduct, built in 1830 by engineer-Colonel John Upton, which served for supplying of shipbuilding docks by fresh water. Also, a tunnel for storm water in which you walk to the beach was built more than one hundred years ago.

Apartment:

Each apartment is decorated in a cozy home style, where you will feel yourself at home. Housekeeping and linen change is providing. Now we are pleased to offer you - two-room apartment, located on the second floor of the guest house.

Two-room apartment. Capacity: up to 4 people. Large and spacious room is located on the second floor of the guest house. The first room (15m²) has everything you need for a comfortable rest, the furniture: a double bed with orthopedic mattress, two bedside tables, a wardrobe with mirrored doors, drawers, TV, air conditioning with climate-control system. The second room (11m²) furnished with two single beds with orthopedic mattresses, two bedside tables, chest of drawers. The bathroom is equipped with new equipment of good quality; there is a wash basin with cabinet, mirror, given a set of towels. Kitchen (7m²) equipped by built-in furniture, a boiler for 200L, a two-burner cooktop, washing machine, refrigerator, extractor fan, table and 4 chairs.

Meal:

Every apartment has kitchen for self-catering, equipped with everything you need: stove, refrigerator, dishes and other kitchen utensils. In a distance of 150-200 meters some café with a complex lunch are located ($3 for person).

Payment and booking:

A mandatory condition of booking is payment of deposit for one night's stay in the booked apartment. In case of non-arrival or refusing from the rest ADVANCE DEPOSIT is NOT REFUNDABLE! The deposit is included in the room rate and is taken into account when calculating the total sum of payment for the rest.
